Does it work in a Mac |
|||
|
Hi I am now renting FT and can confirm that it works under Mac OS X using Parallels to host Windows XP as a guest system. There was one small hitch to overcome. At first FT would not proceed, stating that the key was not found. It was necessary to go to Parallels Desktop menus -> Devices -> USB and select USB Super Pro. Windows then picked up the new hardware and after that FT started up perfectly. FT works well with Interactive Brokers using the Windows version of TWS. I have also been able to use Bracket Trader and the Woodie's CCI chat software from within the Parallels system. Everything is very fast and behaves much like it would on a Windows box. I hope that this will help you if another potential user asks about running FT on an Intel Mac. D C
